Biography
Lot, like Corpsethief- and to an extent, Bewilderbeast- is responsible for guarding the clan. Unlike Corpsethief and Bewilderbeast, however, Lot keeps watch while the clan is on the move.
He- and a few of whichever of the Exalt-Prospects are most well trained at any given time- take the rear guard while the clan is on the move.
He blends in surprisingly well in the fecund lands of the Plaguebringer- he's snapped up many a would-be ambusher, though when he has the time he prefers to drawhis prey his opponents into wicked games of hunter-or-hunted.
His casual cruelty serves him well in his position, and so long as he doesn't turn it against the clan Targhia has no problem with him. Indeed, the way he hunts other dragons serves as a fine final preparation for the clan's Exalt Prospects- after all, it's not like the Plaguebringer is waging her war on podids.
Lot normally leaves his kills where they fall, though he will occasionally take trophies- the skull and beads he wears were taken from the one dragon that nearly succeeded in killing him- a mage of the Flamecaller, the enemy Snapper laid a curse upon Lot mid-battle, and now he burns in life as the flame mage professed he would burn in death.
Lot imagines that he was supposed to be much more impressed by the curse, but as it was he just bit the mage and refused to let go until his own spell-work became the death of him.
After, Targhia had The Skinless work one of his rituals, and the lava that pours forth from between Lot's scales doesn't even cause him pain, much less harm, anymore. Every Flameforger's Festival, Lot makes a special offering as thanks for his 'gift'.
