Bedek
gifted to the clan at some point. immediately falls for Filix. works hard to become as proficient at fighting as he is, so the two of them can flee the constraints of the clan (most literally to be alone together) into the coliseum as much as possible.
no one really knows about his past, and he doesn't speak of it when he does talk, which isn't often. he watches a lot more than he participates, and tends to intake information. however; a font of knowledge when asked a specific, direct question.
He isn't big, and thus developed a fighting style to suit his strengths: lots of limbs, reinforced with metal and leather and gear, and edged with claws and blades. moving quickly, and spinning, he becomes a whirlwind of pain.
legend has it that he moves so quickly, and with such ferocity, that the heat melted his underbelly away, turning it into the molten gold that spatters over him. whatever the truth, it does provide an extra layer of defence in battle.
no one is sure whether the horns are a mutation, a blessing/curse, or just stolen off of a big ish deer.
