 Odemare
the Blind
Odemare doesn't seem like the best leader to some, some think that leaders should charge in to battle at the slightest provocation from other clans, but Odemare is not like this. He gives advice to his clan, leading with knowledge instead of raw force and intimidation. He sits upon his hoard of golden trinkets and speaks to any who come to him for help. Odemare is completely blind, in both sets of eyes that mirrors are born with. He cannot see color or light with his main set or detect heat signatures with his secondary pair, so he sits in one place doing the most he can for his clan in his condition. Odemare is not a warrior of any sort, but he has assisted the clan immeasurably.

Backstory
He remembered it faintly. The blur of the landscape whilst running. The swishing of foliage before his eyes as his claws dug into the cracked ground as he sprinted. The multitude of hues and shades all around him. The life of the world they lived in; the air they breathed, the sounds they heard. Odemare remembers all of these past things fondly and, often a night, will sit in reminiscence over these things, but not for the long. The remembrance of the things he now no longer has brings a heaviness to his heart.. but, as a leader, he refuses to allow this to weigh down on his duties.
As a young Mirror, Odemare was a skilled hunter and runner; before the burden of becoming leader with the weight of it pressing down upon his shoulders, he was carefree. Though when night on day descended upon his shadowy birthplace, he would not have been prepared for that to be the last glimpse he got of his home. The last moments, before the sun was swallowed into darkness he knew so fondly, he vaguely remembers something. He often about speaks of a voice that night before falling into a slumber; a voice whispering to his inner most depths of his mind, whispering to embrace the darkness and to no longer fight it.
When he awoke the very next time, there was no light. His eye's remained painfully shut, and all he could see through them was the never ending darkness. It was his own pleading and now lack of sight that left him now stranded from his pack, as they refused to be held down by his new disability of sight. Odemare could vaguely remember their crude remarks of no longer being a hunter.. a runner.. if he could not see. Devastated by this loss, the Mirror began frantically stumbling around the shadowy realm of his home; disoriented, confused and lost.. until he heard it. Once again, he could hear a gentle voice. It sounded so distant but just close enough he could hear it.
It was this voice that lead him to meet another dragon going by the name of Jekusea. It was she who cared for the blind dragon, nursing his wounded spirit and wounded eyes, until he felt healed both physically and emotionally. In his strength, with Jekusea beside him, the pair began the formation of their new clan. Ignoring initial hesitation of now being a leader, Odemare took a pledge; to lead like no other, and to never abandon any dragon in his clan who was pleading for his help. He would not make a mistake like his pack.
His years of leading has shaped Odemare greatly. He is no longer the fumbling, newly blinded dragon he was. Instead, while lacking his eyesight, Odemare has shaped his other senses to make up for it. Unlike any other they have seen before, the leader's hearing and touch have been heightened greatly. Despite this though, he is not a leader whom would lead on the front lines. Instead, he is more or so a symbol for his clan. Whenever one's mind is clouded with doubt, they may find Odemare in his den, seated upon his personal hoard of treasures and trinkets, and it is there they may find clarity from the wise leader.
While not suitable as a warrior, a scout, or even a gatherer, he does not need to be one to have provided immensely for his clan. The Mirror leader's wisdom and guidance from in the safety of the clan has lead them to make choices for the greater, and because of this, many dragons have taken up armor in his stead and pledge a lifetime loyalty to the Mirror; pledging themselves as his knights to fight until their own ends. While Odemare does not wish to hear of their ends one day, he none the less does not stop them. From atop his golden hoard.. the sightless dragon may not see all - though he may know all.
