Biography
Chancellor Clodea, Warden of Dea Caude
Clodea is the warden of Dea Caude College; unlike many other Guardians, she is sworn to protect the cave system within which it exists. She brought up her hatchlings within it, carefully maintaining the network of corridors and caverns. As they aged, and found themselves trying to find their own purposes, she hired Llores to provide them with instruction and tutelage. But her ability to understand the rock, its strength and its striations, meant that Llores spent most of his down-time tailing her, asking endless questions about the hardness of the walls or how she decided where to construct new tunnels. Over time, her annoyance at his presence gave way to flattery and then to friendship, and she became to view Llores as one of her own. When he explained his plan to open a college where he could share his knowledge with the community, Clodea volunteered Dea Caude in the knowledge that she could protect and provide for them. She is most often found in the deepest corridors of the cave, planning or participating in exploratory missions to build new dormitories or classrooms.
