Born a rebel, she cares not about fame and fortune, but to live her life to the fullest. As the oldest child of a royal family, she ran away at an early age. Does everything others tell her not to. Quickly, she is out of control, and a rouge in wind. She steals cursed jewels and laughs at the face of deities.

The story begins when Kajatie finally angers someone she shouldn’t have. This time, the amethyst she stole TRULY was cursed. Bit by bit, she turns into crystal, dying, yet her thirst for danger and the unlawful only grows, almost like an infection, an addiction. She just couldn't stop stealing and harming anyone who crosses her way. Clytemnestra, her younger sister, at the same time, was affected by this curse, as the witch jinxed her whole bloodline, the royal family quickly dies out. Clytemnestra has to take responsibility, although she craves freedom, her body is failing, decaying and rotting away. To cover her sickness, she covers herself with heavy make-up jewels and silks, drowns herself in perfume and never goes anywhere without incense (although none of which she enjoys). She needs to correct the wrong her sister did, there’s not much time left...

The decay of the body, or the corruption of the soul?

The curse was actually that the two sisters were condemned to go opposite ways, hence the only way to remove the jinx would be them trying to get closer.

However, wouldn’t that be the elimination of their individuality? One could argue that it is the “happily ever after” with understanding and similar sisters, but what about the things that are lost?
