Chusi

Born with a deformity in her wings and leg, Chusi was seen as lesser the moment she hatched from her egg. She was unable to fly on her own or walk too far from the lair, nevermind hunt or fight. A Wildclaw who couldn't run, hunt, or fight was immediately kicked to the lowest rank of the hierarchy. Her parents, despite how much they tried to protect her, were eventually driven away in shame. Nests were supposed to bear strong clutches, strong hatchlings. Their singular egg turned out as..Chusi.

In the free time she now had, unable to participate in hunts, she spent studying. Her small lair filled up with trinkets and books, and eventually a desk and workshop made its way there. The longer she studied, the more she was able to find ways to help her disability--because if her own family wouldn't help her, she would have to help herself.

Over time, she designed, tested, and built her own prostheses, braces, mobility aids. With the help of her own creations, she could now move around more than she ever was able to.

Her movement is still limited, but it's still much more than what she was able to do before. She may not ever be able to fly even with the wing braces, but she's currently working on a way to simulate flight without having to strain the weakened muscles in her wings.
