As each day passed she grew in size but continued to show little will or effort towards supporting herself and was quite happy to remain if she'd not been forcefully removed from her home. This abrupt event caused Cada to wonder but due to her languid nature, did not stray too far and eventually collapsed into a warm alcove. Little did she know that she'd stumbled into another clan's territory. Cada was rudely awoken-- well she'd think it was so, to the angry snarls of the Sgail Lasair's Cohors Praetoria, Althaia and Azshara. The two females were on patrol when they happened upon the intruder, typically the clan welcomed visitors but this one dropped in unannounced and so brazenly slept in a prime location for nesting. Cada tried to explain her situation but was met with little sympathy. They herded the Coatl towards their leaders, Neaera and Marcellus. It was only after some persuasion from Cada's behalf did they finally permit her to stay but only temporarily as they had no time to watch over the inexperienced female. ![]() |

![]() As time passed it wasn't the fact she felt like an outcast, the worst of it all was that she had to do her own hunting as a non official member of the clan they did not trust or share easily, that instead of attention and praise as she was very much used to the other Dragons simply ignored her and that wasn't the worst of it! The area on which she slept was awful, it was hard, not very warm and sometimes damp. This made Cada quite depressed. Very little time afterwards the Coatl simple plucked up the energy and courage to step out of the warm lands, a part of her hoped one of the Dragons would chase her down, apologise, say it was wrong or beg for her to return and though such thoughts made Cada all but prance away the realisation of that fantasy becoming a reality was mute dawned with each passing hour and utterly defeated she continued on into the wilderness, not paying any attention or notice to surroundings. Never one for much adventure, the desire had never made itself known yet here she was, wondering across the lands of Sornieth trying to find a place where they would at least acknowledge her. There was little concept of time in her mind as he had sunk deep into unhappy thoughts, she lost weight and did not drink much water but onwards she went until feet sore from the travelling caused her to stop. Only then did she look up at the soothing sound of water lapping against the shore. Curious, the Coatl continued on. ![]() |

![]() Having arrived at the edge of the world as she knew it, curiosity made itself know and claws reached into the inviting depths, the warm water was soothing and she continued forward until almost floating on it's surface. The pleasant feeling of weightlessness coupled with the waters restorative effects had her boldly paddling out deeper, only when a larger wave threatened to tip her over did the bravado cause the Coatl to return to shore. There she lay, just watching the ocean. It was here that one of the Water's Ambassadors happened upon Cada, a friendly Fae that was returning from a meeting with one of their tentative allies. She immediately noticed the condition of the Coatl and all but insisted they follow her home. Cada was wary and had cause to be seeing as how the last clan treated her but the promise of food, shelter and companionship after so long alone was too much and introduced herself as Cada, not going further into her past other than whittering on about how dirty she looked, claws were broken and plumage dull. Myrra, the leader of clan Lamaris welcomed Cada into her home and showed them around the place as well as introducing her to other Dragons. Though Myrra was friendly, she was anxious about the fact the Coatl was still so young and the Beastclans still active-- how they did not attack Cada was pure luck and it would weigh heavily against her conscious should she let the Coatl leave so soon. It was with that she discussed with her mate, Aegarys, and they agreed to take Cada on. Overjoyed at invitation to stay, Cada gladly accepted and found a nice warm spot to bed down for the night, feeling safe and happy with the thought of some food and company in the morning. In time, she would make a name for herself in Lamaris, becoming the clan's High Priestess. ![]() |
