Jaoqy was a young wildclaw when he had left his parents' lair in search for a home and mate of his own. He had traveled across the Starfall Isles, where he met the light-coloured imperial, Suvi. They formed a rather random yet close bond, and continued heading across the continent together. Along their travels, they met many dragons who with time, joined Jaoqy and Suvi on their journey.
Once arriving upon the Windswept Plateau, Jaoqy's companions suggested they made a lair for themselves and settle among the Wind territories. Although the young wildclaw still had the urge to adventure, he agreed with them. They began to search for a suitable home among the wind territory and stumbled across two elderly dragons- Mitri the fae and Zaro the guardian. These two elder dragons were mates of old, and reached out an offer for the ragtag group of dragons to settle in their rather empty lair. Jaoqy had naively refused, but after many complaints from his companions he accepted. He felt the pressure of leading the group was too much for him, so he eventually let Zaro and Mitri take lead, as they once would have with their own lairs and family.

Time passed and the young male was soon an adult, ready to fully participate in any routine or tasks that was required of him. He trained in battle, as well as in hunting in order to feed his clan and keep them safe. He was a hard worker, and would often dedicate himself to the clan's wellbeing more than others.
When Zaro and Mitri suddenly announced they were going to serve the Windsinger, Jaoqy was torn to see them go. His new family had relied on them for guidance on how to function properly, and they were good friends to be with. He reluctantly sent his his blessings and aided in the exalting of the progens. His companions and he had sadly carried on in their clan duties, the emptiness of the older dragons heavy on their hearts.

A few seasons passed and Jaoqy had already resumed the leader position of the clan. He was favoured by his clanmates, and although he felt he wasn't up to the task, he tried his best. It was in a harsh winter that a troublesome wildclaw, Askan, showed up in his territory. His clanmates were out hunting when one of the hunting members, Mazus, had flown back in a rush to alert him of a savage wildclaw male challenging for leadership.
Jaoqy had gone at once and accepted the challenging. Askan had defeating Jaoqy withe overwhelming speed and strength. He had the rights to the position, and Joaqy begrudgingly accepted this. His clanmates, however, hissed in defiance and refused to accept the newcomer as leader. Askan had furiatingly backed down, and turned to leave before the clan ripped him to pieces. Jaoqy, battered and worn, had called out to offer the troublemaker a home among his clanmates.
With time, Askan was one with the clan and one of its most respected figures. He fought bravely against any who wanted to bring harm to any of his clanmates, and formed a deep respect for Jaoqy and his choices, despite being stronger than him.
It was not long after Askan joined his ranks that a spiral arrived at the edge of his territory. Jaoqy had gone to inspect the stranger, and found a very intimidating spiral. This spiral was lithe, yet very keen. Jaoqy had questioned the spiral harshly, asking why it was loitering around his home. It simply stated it wished to join his lair, and although untrusting, Jaoqy had accepted.

Months passed and Jaoqy found that the spiral, Hitched, was an exceptional dragon. He was intelligent and very good with other dragons. He knew how to fight, make proper decisions and determine when things should be done and why. Jaoqy felt resenment towards him at first, but eventually formed a close friendship with the younger dragon. It was then that Jaoqy realised that Hitched would be better suited to lead their clan, and resigned from the post. Askan was eager to take the post, but respected that Hitched was a smarter choice.

Hitched, with time, had allowed many different dragons to join their ranks. One of these was the coatl Sorrell. The dragon had traveled across the continents looking for a place to settle. Jaoqy had fallen in love with her, and soon he found she felt the same way about him. They became mates, and although Sorrell chose not to live within the clan's territory, she lived just on the outskirts of it. There, Jaoqy visits Sorrell regularly.

Now, Jaoqy lives his life among the clan as it's deputy, making choices with Hitched to lead their clan.
