______ Born amid seemingly endless plains of ice and snow, the first things Noel truly became acquainted with were the icy winds of the land he called home; chilled breezes that would have pierced most to their very core as effectively as it coated his own wings and scales in their frost.

______ However, where most may have found the harsh conditions unpleasant, Noel was never among those to share such an opinion; his kin those charged by winter itself to embody the season and its chill all but made for the harsh conditions more at ease amid the freezing temperatures than they were any other-and Noel was no exception.

______ He thrived amid the cold, and like many of those born beneath his father’s rule, eventually the time came for his training to begin. However, much to the surprise of many of his fellows, it wasn’t the action found on the battlefields that held the most interest for the young; rather he found his interest in the scrolls that told the secrets of strategy and diplomacy. He took to spending more time in the library than the training fields, much to his father’s displeasure, though he never tore him away from the scrolls. Thus Noel became a skilled tactician and diplomat.

______ Thus the reason, when the time came that one of winter’s children be sent to the lands beyond the veil as an ambassador of sorts for the element they embodied, Noel seemed the best choice. Thus he was sent to the lands of the Starfall Isles, passing through the Star Wood Strand, and eventually finding himself residing within the Starfall Haven, the clan that he now calls home.

Personality

______ Calm, reserved, and calculating Noel can easily be perceived as a very cold individual when one first meets him. He’s not often one to initiate conversation with those he isn’t familiar with if it isn’t required, and often tends to spend more time with books and scrolls than with others if no one bothers to pull him away.

______ However those who come to know him are usually quick to learn that despite the frost perpetually shining on his scales and wingtips, he isn’t nearly as cold as he can appear. Rather, the winter fae is quite friendly once one gets close enough to get him to open up; hosting a warm heart within his chest despite the chilled blood that flows through his veins.

______ He’s very intelligent and observant, and oftentimes he will be among the first to notice when something is weighing on another’s mind, picking up on even small shifts in behavior that even they may not notice and if it’s someone he is familiar with he will scarcely hesitate to offer his assistance. However coming from a court that rarely allowed emotion to show, matters of the heart are things he still struggles with from time to time, but that doesn’t stop him from doing his best to offer advice or a helping hand whenever he finds himself able.
