A lone egg sits in it's nest, the pulsating beast inside casts it's parents in a sickly green glow; and they bare their teeth in excited grins, for both of them can feel the power inside. It's mother had a prophecy about this one, about what it would do, what it could become. A beacon, a symbol, with the truth of plague in it's veins. And when the egg splits open, the hatchling lives up to their expectations and more. Greed was her parent's pride and joy, sharing in her father's immense well of power and her mother's love of her homeland, the first child with no sign of weakness from the lingering traces of the Shade, this one is entirely pure; and with the addition of her older sister- Vainglory's nurturing hand, forever teaching and pushing her to the limit. She had no choice but to live up to their expectations, but in her head she strove for even more. She would be more, more than anyone would ever expect; she threw herself into her training, becoming a truly powerful mage as a young adult. She's no slouch with a sword either, but prefers to control the land around her, force decay upon those who dare defy her and sunder their flesh from bone. They were a little too doting, in the end but either way she was well versed in what to expect out on her own and how to carry her teachings with her.
