Khurzuil's journey to find a new home wasn't the easiest; having been born on the edges of Scarred Wasteland, and spending their early childhood elsewhere, they were unfamiliar with the dangers of the land. They ran into a group of monsters only after days of travel that had seemed like struggle before that. After the encounter, which they survived out of sheer luck, Khurzuil knew better. More careful then, the journey was more smooth going, but it had already left its marks on the young dragon. They rarely speak of it.

Koru was the one to find Khurzuil when the youngling was wandering around weak and wounded, but refusing to give up, and led them to the clan's grounds. And along with them came an unusual friend, who remained by Khurzuil's side ever since.
