Arrix has lived his entire life around the sea, growing up splashing in the waves and exploring the rocky tide pools, one day though, while he was enjoying life as it were when he was around ten years old, he was suddenly jumped and knocked unconscious.

When the lad woke up he found himself in the hull of a grand ship, within an hour of him waking up some large dragon came down and told him he was to begin to swab the decks, the young boy protested demanding to be returned to his home and family, the larger dragon only scoffed at him.

The young coat was finally broken into submission and became the ships errand boy, he served the ship for years without much complaint after the initial struggle, he felt homesick occasionally but in truth he had always dreamt of a life at sea.

Overtime the lad went up in ranks until he was the captains first mate, now a full grown adult and quite well muscled, the coatl took revenge on the old captain, murdering him for his position and throwing him into the sea.

The rest of the crew had no idea what he had done as he claimed it was simply an accident due to the captains old age, he took over the ship and now sails the seas plundering small villages and taking what he wishes.
