Past Her family was noble. They were good. They served their deities and their clan proudly. And they cast her out for nothing more than being born. Her father had wrought her clutch out of darkness and selfishness and she suffered for it. Made to feel a monster because of a dark sickness even the Filthy One would be disgusted by, Desire would never have a home again with her parents or her clan. Abandoned, she turned the shame she felt for others disgust in her into disgust she then turned on them. Honor, pride, she cast that all away, deeming it as worthless as she was once treated. Loyalty she has kept, but she gives it out sparingly. There is only one who had it, and it was not entirely by choice. Desire worked as a mercenary for many years, her partner and Charge by her side. She became strong and an extremely skilled fighter, utilizing only her physical abilities and casting away her powerful magical potential, for fear that those tainted abilities would be her undoing. Present Strangely, it was Desire's defeat that lead her to a better place. In an astonishing case of wrong place wrong time, Desire was set face to face with Akane and was thrown into the fight of her life. She fought beside Asterion, Mahli, Marzanna, and Bergil, and was the only one left standing after they fell. Her magic ached to burst forth, and Akane saw it in her. She also saw potential. She spared Desire's life, as well as all the others, and offered to take Desire under her wing. Desire said yes, though somewhat reluctantly. Training with Akane's other Apprentices has not been easy for her, as the only true physical fighter of the lot. Still, her magic struggles to break free of the strangle hold she has it in, and every day it grows more dangerous... and more tempting. Relationships
