Knew

Far away in the cold tundras of the Southern Icefield there is a famous- or infamous depending how you see it- caravan that travels all over the region. This caravan is led by a boisterous and commanding Skydancer named Knew. Well, at least that's the name she tells others. It may or may not be her real name.

Being a strong warrior, she can be a little- a lot- intimidating and rough towards others. Those who are new may even see her as a threatening and terrifying. Well, she can be a little aggressive in battle. She has a loud voice and isn't afraid to project it especially when making commands. Sometimes others may misunderstand her tone as angry and yelling. But that's normal isn't it? After all, what kind of leader didn't command attention?

The only exception in her behavior is her lover Know. She treats him with great care and delicacy. Her voice never raises against him unless they are in a heated argument or is commanding her group in general. Moreover, her mate is the only one who can see pass her intimidating appearance. He is well aware how, deep down, she has a gentle side no one can see.

Despite her rough behavior towards her group, Knew cares and worries for the members very much. She is concerned and is actively involved in making sure they are always in best shape. Their health is a top priority of hers. If any of them are injured or show any sign of sickness, she sends them to get medical attention immediately. It is the reason she hired Vitali and Basil, two exemplary healers, in order to make sure everyone is healthy.

Do not, however, underestimate her because of this. Others sometimes think Knew's bark is worse than her bite. Those who think of this clearly does not know her well. Never forget that she is still a warrior and a leader. A leader must know that there is always a time for everything. A time to be kind and caring. A time to be strict and commanding.

The caravan began as just a small group. Madjick was one of its first members. Before their caravan even started, they were good friends. Her friend was a little strange so he was often bullied by others. Knew is the one who always sticks by his side and defends him from bullies. She used to drag him all over the places in her crazy adventures. What good times those were.

Eventually, Knew's caravan grew larger in numbers. Well, it wasn't really that big, but numbers didn't really matter. They were a small but close-knitted group who looked out for each other. Moreover, being a small group doesn't affect their skill at what they do. The caravan was a well-known mercenary group. It was highly sought for especially by those who need help. Some asked for protection. Others gave them missions to eradicate certain "problems". At other times, they are tasked to protect and deliver precious items at long distances. Being versatile, there are many more jobs that they can do. Just ask and pay. It will be done.
