Biography
Alopex knows very well that he is just as old as his brothers, and he resents being treated like the youngest sibling because of it. His size does not help much, and he frequently rides in his familiar's antlers in an attempt to make himself look taller. Due to his various insecurities and "humiliations", Alopex is an obvious grump, and he can usually be seen sulking in his lair when not perching in his familiar's antlers. He prefers to stay distant from his brothers, especially Tonic, and would rather be with his familiar or his parents or by himself.
Full Name: Alopex
Rank: Gatherer (specifically a digger)
Personality: As the "youngest" and smallest out of Lady and Pierre's offspring, Alopex feels that he needs a huge personality to compensate for his small size, and he exercises this belief very well. He openly resents being treated like the youngest child and will not hesitate to yell at someone (in monotone, of course) if they comment about his size, which he views as a humiliation to the family. The Fae is a grump and can often be seen sulking in his den, and he prefers not to be with his brothers (especially Tonic) except if Lady makes him.
Orientation: Asexual/Aromantic
Relationship Status: Single and not interested in a relationship.
Kin: Pierre (father), Lady (mother), Sibelius (brother), Tonic (brother)
Familiar: Steed the Elk. Steed is more of a mode of transportation for Alopex than a familiar, and their relationship is strained due to this. The Elk is often rebellious against Alopex and will not hesitate to fling him off his antlers if he does not want to be ridden. Nonetheless, Alopex is frequently seen perched in Steed's antlers, as Steed's size helps make him look somewhat taller.
Reputation: As the "youngest" and smallest son of Lady and Pierre, Alopex is frequently coddled by larger and older dragons, either affectionately or mockingly. Regardless of their intentions, Alopex resents the attentions he receives, and he frequently asserts that he is just as old as his brothers. He is not particularly close to any dragon, but he is sometimes seen with Lady and Pierre.
Likes: jewelry and other shiny things, ores, logic and reason, insects // Dislikes: his size, being disrespected, flirts, loud noises, water
Backstory: Alopex was the last one to hatch out of Lady and Pierre's clutch, so he was designated as the youngest out of the siblings. Because of his designation, Lady and Pierre fussed over Alopex (as well as Sibelius) when he was young, and Alopex was resentful of this, because he knew that he was just as old as his brothers. His size only made him appear younger than his siblings, and Alopex grew frustrated and resentful towards other dragons because of it. He was somewhat relieved when he came of age, yet he would cringe at the fact that some Fae hatchlings were almost as large as him. One day, after hunting for insects, an inquisitive Tundra Dragon followed him back to the Clan. Surprised by such a large dragon, Alopex attacked the Tundra with a small burst of magic, but he quickly realized that the Tundra, who was still standing there, posed no threat. That Tundra turned out to be named Chrysalis, and he joined the Clan to learn more about Alopex. Alopex was disconcerted by the inquisitive sniffs and probes Chrysalis gave him, and he was relieved when Chrysalis forgot all about it and moved on to some other dragons. Since then, Alopex's life has been relatively uneventful, and he seems to want to keep it that way.
