All it takes is to stop and listen, and what goes unseen speaks.

A sentiment by which Vitali lives his life. Most might mistake him for shy, since he prefers to stay quiet and let others speak for him, and even when he does speak he is soft-spoken. There are times when it seems that his ensorcelled volume familiar is far more talkative -- even when all it does is recite his notes back to him. It's certainly true that Vitali is slightly more outspoken among his friends and family; but for the most part Vitali simply enjoys listening.

Whether this is listening to someone's gripes, the music of his chimes or the vast quietness of the night sky, Vitali is someone who is prone to being still.

Despite what some may assume, this isn't just a product of his blindness -- though it is fairly well informed by it. By having to pay attention to his antenna more than his eyes, Vitali has learned the benefit of remaining quiet and allowing the world to play out around him. Most times, what is stressful resolves without the need to become stressed. Other times, he can hear feelings, fortunes and pains most can't -- even most other skydancers.

Vitali uses this gift primarily to help others, especially those who helps others themselves. Though not a front-line warrior, often Vitali plays support to those who are -- specifically those who fight evil in some fashion or another. If a hero needs a healer, Vitali will be on hand.

His other talents, however …

Though as a beggar Vitali used his empathic talents to cast fortunes for others, and he frequently still does, he's more reticent these days to actually predict futures. Futures are fluid and self-made, and far be it for Vitali to define someone's future for them -- even by suggestion.
