"With everything happening....I'm beginning to remember why I don't stick around all the time."

Maroon learned a lot of his dragon swearing from pirates that came to shore acting as traders. He got free stuff by helping them unload what they were trading, but he learned a few new phrases by the time the pirate traders left.

As the years went on, he found himself wanting more and more to be like those pirates. One day, he resolved to be one himself. As of now, he stays in the clan during the colder months, leaving for the sea in mid May and returning during the week of Talk Like A Pirate Day.

Some say he's trying to get away from the chaos the clan always seems to be in.

Besides his Raptorik first mate, Click, Maroon has a pet Wildwood Owl, Sakura.

He was replaced by the impostor during the Night of the Nocturnes Invasion of 2016.
