Imperious | Demanding | Mysterious
Adonita is a Shadow dragon. She must be; her eyes are a deep purple, and the thorns of the Tangled Wood still clung to her wings when she first marched boldly into Tessa's lair not long ago. These facts are agreed upon, and yet Adonita remains, as she is, a paradox. She displays no shadow-related abilities whatsoever, and instead wields elemental lightning magic of considerable power. She claims to have been struck by lightning and bestowed with this ability as a hatchling, but Trystan and the other lair scholars have decided that this is impossible... probably. While her generally-pompous attitude got on the nerves of the other residents at first, she has earned some goodwill by taking on the role of a teacher, as she now helps familiarize hatchlings with their lightning abilities before they make their separate ways in the world.
