Biography
CASSIOPEIA |
|
Cassiopeia is a celestial Nymph in the shape of an Imperial female dragon. The Axolotl, the keeper of universal balance and watchful god of the multiverse, sent her to Sornieth with a cryptic instruction that is simply; to protect. Fëa and her clan found her wandering around, or more like stumbling and crawling, when they were traversing the Sunbeam Ruins in search for a new home. Even Tamaura took pity on the clearly confused or sick girl and the clan took her in. Fëa understands there is something off about this lady, but she senses a good heart and has taken it to her duty to help this creature understand dragonkind and the way of clan Phantasma. She has noticed spacial wisps appearing from the corner of her mouths and seen many of the 'invisible' eyes Cassiopeia spouts around her head. In her own theory Cassiopeia could be an envoy from the Arcanist himself, but she keeps her thoughts very guarded. Cassiopeia however, constantly contemplated her purpose of being sent to this mortal world. Learning how to blend in, in this society of highly intelligent dragons is intriguing, but feels pointless in many cases. She doesn't realize what she is doing until she senses an ominous presence - The leader of the neighboring cult. She is there when this Skydancer and her sister offers assistance and at first doesn't think they are a bad omen since they are very helpful and nice. But her celestial abilities allow her to see beyond what is normally seen and the geometric markings and glowing eyes of these friendly dragons are very familiar to her. Bill Cipher; demigod of chaos and king of nightmares. They are bearing the symbol of this 'All-seeing Eye' and all of a sudden her purpose of being sent to this dimension makes all the more sense to her; she is supposed to protect other dragons from being drawn into this cult's ways or being swayed by their tempting deals. Also of course to find a way to stop them or rid them of Bill's evil influence. |
Cassiopeia becomes very defensive for her new clan's safety and keeps a very close eye when she can on the Cipher cult. That doesn't mean she isn't polite when she can and she has talked with some of the members shortly. Little does she know, they are aware of her position as an envoy from the multiverse. Most in the clan oppose her opinion of the neighbors and regard her warnings with negative looks, however Tamaura believes her and suspect the group of being Shade worshippers, however wrong she is, Cassiopeia really appreciates the Coatl for having faith in her. She is on good terms with most of the clan, but that doesn't mean some doesn't suspect her, especially the arcane dragons can feel a certain aura from her. Things complicate considerably when Nova and Orion arrives; two of her kin. While Orion, her 'brother', is worried and concerned, Nova scoffs at her inability to do anything about the situation. Cassie isn't one for violence though, she is trying to work out a way to talk to the cult and make them see what exactly they signed up for. She knows some of them are certainly not aware of Bill's heinous history. Atlas coming makes everything a lot harder since he is an active class and Cassie, her brother and Nova belongs to passive ones. Cassiopeia accuses Atlas of coming against the Axolotl's wishes and is very angry when Atlas admits it. She wants to be able to handle her mission herself, but her brother, his partner and Atlas complicates everything and treats her like a child. It makes her stomp her claws in frustration! While these beings of space bicker and argue, the Cipher cult grows closer to bring about a gateway to welcome their god to Sornieth. But that doesn't mean they are neutral to the Nymphs, they have sent a very generous letter to them that they hope they will accept. |
