BIOGRAPHY Quiriel, the great star-seer became Arnorr of the Starry Eyes. He had traveled far from his homeland in the Ice territories and had lived happily in the Plaguelands. He had used his magic to gain "sight." He had been loved, but it was time to move on. When he came to his new clan, it seemed that his magic and the rot of the Plaguelands had combined to create this...affliction. It ate away at his wings, spread along his legs and tail, dripped from his crest and onto his face. But...it caused him no physical harm. When Ptera looked him over, she said no disease could be found. It was a physical manifestation of his magic. It seemed his small body could not contain the power he held. As any good scientist inevitably is, Ptera was very interested in his condition, and in his spare time from finding his place among the Oracles, she would come to see him to study him. Though the blind Fae could not see her, he often felt her touch upon his person, and his magic allowed him to "see" enough of her to get an idea of what she looked like. When he timidly asked if she would take him as a mate, Ptera was surprised. She had never before had a mate, and she gleefully accepted. Arnorr has a life of his own, of course. He has limited future sight, but his magic makes him excellent with a pendulum, allowing him to give answers to simple questions. This is how he has found his place among the Oracles, and dragons travel far and wide to see the blind seer afflicted by magic. His reason for changing his name is his own secret, but many speculate he wanted to make a brand new start. Not out of any tragic happenings from his own clan, but simply to signify a new beginning, and a new life with a new lover.

Personality Arnorr is a very quiet and somewhat shy dragon. He doesn't mind company, but he is not as energetic as most Fae. He has a strong and caring personality, though, and, despite his blindness, he is fiercely protective of those close to him. He is grateful to Periphae for giving him a new home, though he will never forget the loving clan in the Plaguelands who helped him come to terms with his blindness and gave him new hope.

Quiriel had been stumbling through the barren wastelands and festering deserts of the Plague Kingdom, blinded by the sickness here he had no immunity too.

He had been sent away by his old clan, no longer wanted among the group. He had always been fragile, weaker than the others. He could barely stand the snapping colds of his old arctic home. For a while he was loved, then he was tolerated, and then, cast out. His weakness had been a danger to the other dragons.

And now, he was horribly sick, horribly lost, and not standing much of a chance to survive. It wasn't until he bumped into a kind Coatl fishing for a meal that he found Sugar's Clan., Where order was accidental.

There were no rules or laws, and nothing was taboo. But everyone there got along in perfect grace. Sure there was an upset or two, always to be expected, but there was no severe fighting or hostility.

Quiriel had smiled faintly as he was taken to Kareem to receive medical help.

Because of his blindness, he adopted magic as a way to see things, hear better, feel everything. He could even see a little into the future, allowing him to avoid certain outcomes.
