Sika was born to the ruling family of a great forest and as such was raised to be the next Queen. At first she balked from this expectation, unwilling to take such a great responsibility, but as she grew up, she started to embrace it. She loved her forest, spending much of her time drinking in the sights and sounds, and she could think of no better way to protect it than to become its next Queen. All the forest creatures liked her for her generosity, caring, and strong sense of justice, and when her parents finally retired from the throne and made Sika the Queen, there was great celebration all throughout the forest.

When Sika’s parents finally passed -- peacefully and in their sleep -- Sika was for the first time left without a family. Yes, she had a great community in her land, but she still had the sense that something was missing. Nevertheless, she was generally quite happy to protect her home and meditate disputes between the creatures in the forest.

One day as Sika was strolling through the woods, she came across a white dragon wreathed in something white and cold. At first Sika was just curious to see what this cold white stuff was, but curiosity soon turned to horror as she watched the white touch her precious trees, causing their leaves to shrivel up and fall to the ground.

At once Sika sprang out from her hiding space behind the trees, demanding to know why the white dragon was killing off all the beautiful life. However, rather than running away as Sika expected, the white dragon introduced herself as Yukin and declared that she was going to show Sika the beauty of the cold whiteness, called winter.

At first Sika did not believe that there could be any way that winter could be good -- all it caused was death. However, Yukin was soon able to show her that winter could also be a time of peace, rest, and joy. Sika began to appreciate Yukin's work and offered her a place to stay in the forest. Yukin agreed, as long as she could continue travelling the world for most of the year to continue bringing winter to other places. Sika once again had a family -- small, but still there.

Life quickly settled back down to normal -- with the addition of Yukin -- until one winter Yukin came home with news of a mysterious "Night Tiger" that she had heard about during her travels. Sika said that if Yukin, she could go find this Night Tiger and bring him home. Sure enough, the next winter, Yukin returned with a grey striped dragon named Mid, and now Sika's family has a risk of three.

Today, Sika continues to rule over her forest with Mid as the faithful defender and Yukin returning home every winter. With her new family, she no longer has that feeling of missing something. Her subjects in her first have also come to care for Yukin and Mid just as much as they do for Sika, and her land continues to be a safe haven for creatures of all shapes and sizes.

Weird, personal note you cant use for anything, but my mom's made Sika, so I was biased towards this gal. She gives me that motherly vibe even without the name too. She's so calming, she looks natural and almost slightly divine. I love how the butterfly gets to stand out against her dark, natural colors.
She's never overdressed, every last piece gets to stand out and be seen on its own. All the birdskull stuff, lovely and natural, the staff breaking the swirling feel of the female imp pose and then those butterflies. Lovely, one of the best uses of the piece I've ever seen!
Her lore is cute too. It's adorable she's found her home and that she was proven wrong about winter. She does look like a queen, but I love you've included she had to grow to the challenge, it makes her very real and human. She's benevolent and soft, just like those butterflies. Her story sings of love and I love her
