Biography
I had been peacefully fishing when that red mirror appeared. He seemed a bit clumsy, more splashing around than catching anything. By the way he moved, I could tell he was more experienced hunting land animals. Stalking up on fish hardly works. As he got more impatient, cursing and growling at the fish, I decided to teach him a bit.
'First,' I said, walking up next to him. 'patience is the key. You shouldn't run around like a cub. Too much splashing.'
He grumbled, giving me an evil look, but chose to listen anyway.
'Keep the sun in your back and shade the water with your wings. Like this.' I demonstrated how it's done, having now unobscured view through the clear water. 'And then... you wait.' Minutes passed, maybe a quarter of an hour. He had watched me, unmoving, seemingly curious if I could to it.
At the corner of the shade, I eventually noticed movement. I locked on my target, waiting for the time to strike. With one swift motion, I pulled a fat catfish out of the water. I broke it's spine and placed it to the other fish I caught today. The other Mirror seemed impressed.
'I could tell you about refraction and about to to bait fish later.', I said. 'It's quite easy once you get the hang of it.'
Before he could respond, a big, muscular ridgeback walked up towards us. 'I see you found a new friend. Have you found fish, too?', she asked. 'You know I can't work hungry. No fish, no metalwork.'
'I just got helpful tips on how to catch fish. You should be thankful.'
, the mirror responded.
The ridgeback let out a deep bellowing laugh. 'About time! Pirr and Paru caught more fish than you did. Both aren't known for their hunting skills. By the way...' Her look turned to me, then to the pile of fish. 'Can I burrow one of these?'
Before I could respond, she had already taken the catfish, gulped it down and was on her way back.

Shaji is a fisher of Sunroad-clan. For a mirror, she is unusually patient, but just as snappy as a regular one.
