Junior Ambassador/Defender of the Twins
"I'll protect you, dearest twin!"

Lapis Lazuli's charge is to cherish and protect her "twins", the dragons who share her hatchday. Given the hundreds (if not thousands) of dragons hatched in Sornieth every day of every year, this is seen as a bit of a problem.

In spite of all the gentle admonishments from the clan leaders (and the not-so-gentle words from the hunters and gatherers whose hard work feeds the clan), Lapis Lazuli finds herself irresistibly drawn to dragons who hatched on the same day as her. She tries her best not to give in to her instincts, but even then she sometimes wakes up in a completely unfamiliar lair, sleepily nudging a "twin" in the general direction of the Viridian Labyrinth.

Eventually, Anzu suggested that rather than fight her protective instincts, the clan should make use of them. Lapis Lazuli now accompanies the various Flight Ambassadors as a sort of junior ambassador. This way, she can meet and keep in touch with many of her "twins", and the Berry Market can create new alliances.
