Charming is a silent, unnerving individual. The only dragons he has ever spoken to are his mate and Videl, though nearly every dragon heard him speak at one point or another - he does not get along with Videl and has had a great many arguments with her. Most of the time he will stare at whichever dragon he is currently listening to without blinking which has led many trainees to avoid him altogether. Many trainees are also terrified of the way that he almost always silent but can suddenly break into a screaming argument with Videl.

His main duties are that of a Ravager; he trains dragons alongside his mate and leads them in battle. Because of his inexplicable muteness, he isn't a very effective commander, but takes that attitude that his Reaver-phalanxes must simply deal with it. He adopted the nonverbal signals his mate's Reaver Glade after they were developed and took no part in their creation.

Charming seems to have perfected the art of being haughty without actually saying anything. Despite his superior attitude, he does wordlessly boast a unique ability - Charming seems to be able to take one look at a battle and instantly assess the situation, being able to pinpoint exactly where defense and offense is weak or strong. However, he doesn't have a very good eye for the big picture and is usually consulted in emergencies or subjective circumstances.

Charming is almost never without his mate. They train together, eat together, fly together, and she is the only one he will cordially speak to. They are often physically connected - they intertwine a bit like two snakes that have tied themselves in a knot. It is a popular belief among trainees that Sasha and Charming communicate by their contact with each other and they are making comments about the trainees behind their backs. Charming has neither confirmed nor denied this rumor.

Charming is a Ravager and one of the five Heads of the clan, having won this position through his ability to assess critical moments in battle and exceptional skill on the battlefield. He expects unwavering loyalty and obedience from his Reaver-Phalanxes, despite the disadvantage they are at due to the fact that he won't actually verbally order them around. While no one can doubt his skill and prowess, most of the dragons stationed under him try not to spend to much time in his presence outside of battles.

Charming can pinpoint the exact turning point or critical moment of any battle; he knows the precise moment that will decide how hard-fought their eventual victory will be. However, he lacks the ability to see the big picture or how one battle will affect another and is therefore used more in moments of crises than as a long-term strategist. He'll leave that job to his mate.
