Fortune-Teller
Advisor to the Matriarch
Mission comes from a long, prestigious line of future-seers and fortune tellers. She discovered her own gift for reading cards and runes as a hatchling. She would often play with her mother's divination tools, and seemed to have a knack for reading them even without being taught. Because her mother and grandmothers before her had also practiced fortune-telling, it seemed to run in her blood. Her mother noticed her natural ability and fostered it until she had passed on all of her knowledge. When she was old enough, Mission left the place she had called home and went to find a new home. She eventually found Fennel and her clan. The Guardian seemed to need guidance on certain matters, and Mission easily fell into the role of advisor. Even today, she spends much of her time by Fennel's side, giving advice based on rune readings. Although she could take advantage of this position, Mission doesn't have the cruelty to do so. She simply doesn't enjoy taking advantage of others. Since she came to the clan, it's turned into a refuge of sorts for anyone who practices fortune-telling, rune reading, or any similar craft. Fennel has made it her mission to take in the lost dragons of the world, and Mission does her best to support the matriarch of her clan. She even decided to take on two orphaned hatchlings of her own, Xenobia and Elonia- twins with a dark past. Xenobia showed promise, so Mission passed on everything she knew as though the Tundra was her own daughter. However, the twins disappeared one dark night and have yet to return - wasting Mission's time and belief in their potential. After raising the twins, she even had children of her own, sired by the Skydancer, Amir. She does not love him, but they find comfort in each other on lonely nights.
