Biography
BRON Clan Leader brave | curious | affectionate he/him Bron is polite and he has good manners. When arrived in this clan, most of his time went to studying and representing himself well. He doesn't have time to do thing that young teenagers do, like flirt with others, have fun and try their limits. He is mature and really adult for his somewhat young age. One day, at the clan's weekly meeting, he met Maeva. She turned out to be really attractive and cute, and Bron started crushing HARD. Bron tries to hide it but it's way too obvious that he is crushing. He can't talk clearly and he is visibly nervous. Bron believes he can hide his feelings, but everyone knows the truth. HISTORY Bron was born in the Southern Icefield. As a little hatchling, Bron enjoyed playing on the floes – the thrill of jumping from one to another, or simply watching it melt and break apart on the edges made him feel good. His parents warned him that if he didn't stop, he could easily drift off towards the Ashfall Waste. He was just encouraged even more, wondering what adventures might be lying there – beyond the horizon. This horizon that spoiled his sleep in many nights, with a beautiful view of fiery sparkling lights and illuminated acsending steam. One day, as he played around like usual, his parents fear became true. The water was restless and the clouds were dark. The melting ice was caught by a wave so unexpected, that Bron didn't have the chance to jump off in time. His parents tried to reach him desperately but it was too late, the floe had already started a journey that would change Brons life forever. Recovered from the first shock of leaving his family behind, Bron felt excited – even confident. That was until the hunger came. Days went by and he was not lucky with getting anything edible out of the water. He was afraid and felt lonely. The current moved the ice quickly, but he noticed that the water was getting warmer and the ice began to melt. He could swim a bit but certainly not forever, with nothing to hold on to. He wasn't at his fullest, he knew that. At some point he lost conciousness. In his dreams, screams followed him, there was fire everywhere but his fur felt was heavy and wet, and then there was darkness. When he woke up from his feverish dreams he felt weak. Lying in a cozy dozen layers of blankets, carefully wrapped around him, he knew he wasn't in danger anymore. The edges of the fabric were burnt and there were rags everywhere to cover up holes. Next to him, there was a bowl of cookies, still steamy hot and spreading a sweet scent throughout the tent. Brons stomach hurt awefully and he didn't wait to get them down his throat. The crunchy noises must have been loud because suddenly somebody was rushing in, staring at him expectantly once having a clear view. It was a bright red tundra boy, a little bigger but probably younger than Bron was. ... to be continued.
Lore by Panicat
Coaling Lore: Along the edges of the Ashfall Waste, a class unknown to most of the Flamecallers children has evolved through the centuries – Coalings. Fire has always been a source of warmth, light and energy (cooking delicious meals). Using their good connections to other flights, many of the clans that reside at the borders carry on trades to exchange goods and knowledge. Coalings are miners with excellent knowledge of all that can be used to make fire mobile for travelling and also how to gather it. They originate from the Southern Icefields and their icy fur started to adapt to the new surroundings quickly, producing a thin coat covered in ash and stones the more they worked in the mines. Most Coalings start as trainees as soon as they are born, many of them leave the Ashfall Waste to join other clans to be of use. However, the coal and flintstones produced in the Fire territory is said to be of the best possible quality. |
