Aldrea

As a young hatchling, Aldrea was separated from her birth clan. Thrown into the harshness of the world, a savage need to survive shaped her until she could barely interact with civilization at all. Her long chain of impulsive decisions turned sour when she was badly injured near the border of the Sea of a Thousand currents.

Noelle came across her, barely alive, on a gathering excursion, and being a healer by nature, immediately returned with her to the clan. Aldrea was nursed back to health and was invited to stay. She agreed reluctantly, but it quickly became clear she had great difficulty in forming relationships with her clanmates.

All except one. Spear, who was frequently appointed her chaperone during activities outside the lair, was eternally patient. Aldrea tried often to pick a fight, provoke him into anger, but he was always gentle with her despite her best efforts.

Gradually, Spear helped Aldrea uncover who she was meant to be.
