Balaur

The quirky second in command, Balaur is always willing to help those 'whiny clan members' that Hummingbird doesn't care to deal with. She acts almost like a counselor to those who seek her help, and hatchlings frequently enjoy sleeping with her on those cold nights. She and Hummingbird frequently spend their nights huddled together, as the bond that they share is as close as kin. Balaur was the previous clan leader, but stepped down when Hummingbird was brought to the Clan.

Balaur is very soft spoken, with hissing words and bated breath. She tends to hold her tongue around Hummingbird, in fear of speaking wrongly. As a Plague-born dragon, she tends to hoard her things in tight cubbies surrounded by dead grass. She claims it's to preserve them against the elements.
