Runecraft is a delicate and incredibly intricate subject used by few and mastered by even less. Leto is a proud member of the line of most powerful runemasters. Trained in the art since a child, she might be the best one of all. The clan's members aren't overly affectionate, but Leto did her best to receive the rare pat or praise from her parents, lonely as an only child. Their family was renowned for their skills and often requested for jobs all across Sornieth.

During one such job tragedy struck and Leto became the consort of a powerful Imperial, her powers bound. She became a decorative doll, existing only to be shown off by her master and give him heirs. She gave birth to 2 beautiful children, a girl and boy. She stood back, seething, as the man that imprisoned her abused her children as much as he did her. A chance to escape was presented to her by a friendly servant indebted to her family. Leto took her children and fled, her escape taking her to the doors of Willowgrove where she was promised protection.

She has stayed since, leaving rarely, afraid of venturing outside. She tries to not let her fears overwhelm her, but to this day she is wary of, if not outright hostile towards, all males. Her antagonism is known and acerbic words tolerated as she never strays to name-calling or physical violence. She has gotten better with males over the years, especially thanks to Nikolai, the Imperial she came to love, having not feared to approach him after mistaking him for a female.

Leto is very passionate about runes and will discuss them with anyone who displayed a bit of interest. Runes are flexible and malleable as the sequence of runes is changed even by one rune. Their combinations - straight, cyclical, radial, runes inside runes, so many possibilities! - grant both protection and power. She enjoys simply sketching out the symbols, playing with their meaning, combinations and interaction. Most of the runes around the lair were created by her hand.

She loves reading books about different subjects and she doesn't shy away from indulging in a love story. Hardheaded and short-tempered, Leto often gets into arguments, unwilling to back down once challenged. She’s quite the mother hen towards younger scholars. She’s not very cleanly. Her quarters are filled with scattered scraps of paper and books haphazardly piled up on one another.

One of the biggest contributions is the translation rune tattoo. These are tattooed behind the ears of all permanent clan members or painted with invisible paint on guests to be washed off to prevent stealing. It greatly simplifies communication with Coatls and Faes as the rune gives the dragon the meaning and intent behind the words, not only a direct translation.

........Nikolai: The love of her life. Leto wouldn't change her fate because she met this kind man, the one who pulled her out of her self-imposed isolation and once again showed her the beauty of the world. She will forever be his just as he is hers.

........Selim: A kind brother that spoils her and loves her dearly. She feels like a little girl around him, not that he mind her clingy behavior or the occasional request.
