"Oh, god, this one doesn't trust me", you think, as you're led down the path with the two Fae. The dully colored one...She makes you nervous. You dare not ask how she lost her eye. The one that isn't under the wrap feels strong, and like she's looking into your soul.

Dusty is the favorite daughter of Max. Her mother, a warrior, instilled an unmatched vigilance in her. This makes her the perfect patrolling partner in the canyon outside of the lair. There's a balance between her and Max that just feels right. They have kept their home safe for nearly a decade together, even without the employment of the other residents.

She's much more stoic than her father...and doesn't speak much at all after the incident that left her without her right eye. Max never speaks with her about it. Maybe that's his flaw...maybe he's afraid of losing her. He won't. She's loyal to her family and clan. She's loyal to her flight. She wouldn't have it any other way.
