Biography
The only healthy egg found in an abandoned nest, this Wildclaw was taken back to Path's End and raised by Surana herself. This was a time before she formally accepted the title of clan leader, and still had time to watch over a hatchling with Spry. Keel was raised with the traditions of a Guardian, and with time he grew from a curious youngling into a powerful warrior. He has always sought to protect those who raised him, and will defend his home clan fiercely. In the early days of the clan, the first Wildclaw visitor to Path's End crossed the borders. Though they did not duel, Keel recognized the combat prowess of the stranger, Mistcaller. He brought her to Surana, who allowed her to rest from her travels so long as she was willing to aid in the hunting efforts of the clan. Keel was always certain to accompany her, and his curiosity eventually became something more. She returned his interest, and the two went on to become lifemates. Kindly only to those he truly trusts, he is often wary of strangers and is occasionally guilty of treating newcomers with contempt. He has earned a standoffish reputation among many of his clanmates, though those few he considers friends are quick to defend his character. It matters little to Keel, however, as he spends most of his time patrolling the ever-expanding borders of the clan with the Wildclaw guards who serve under him. His free time is often spent with his mate. |
