I don't generally exalt/flip dragons so if I bought your dragon, they're probably here to stay (though how long their stay will be is always a gamble)!

Redoing a large portion of my lore so take the following with a large grain of salt

The Clan of the Western Winds is based in the Windsweapt Plateau and is situated in a complex cave system that stretches for miles beneath Sornieth. The entrance to the cave is set into a small hillside in a clearing in the middle of the Aeraki Forest.

As the clan grew, it soon became easier to construct treehouses rather than dig new rooms, and an elaborate network of interconnected treehouses soon surrounded the cave system.

The Trading Post is a large, busy affair in a meadow near the Aeraki Forest, and is only ever even remotely quiet during the night, when all the vendors have closed their stalls and put away their wares.

And there are also a fair amount of entities in the Aeraki Forest, so be careful if you're passing through.
