Clan Onda

The soft sounds of the droplets hitting the chilling cavern floor was not enough to mask the sounds of the waves pushing and pulling behind the roar of the waterfall in front of her. The endless stream of crystal blue pellets continued finding their mark against the crevices of her scales. Behind her lay an eternal expanse of empty water, bright flashes of fading fish meeting their end and finding themselves in an unforgiving watery grave. It was not enough to deter the brave from finding her, from making a home in this treacherous ocean, escaping from the wonderful, yet dangerous, land of above. The Guardian turned her head to the sounds of the water, calming as it was, and listened to the fading echos up ahead. Bubbles flashed behind the protective waterfall, sending messages to those who could properly interpret them. The Guardian smiled, turned away from the water, and stepped into the depths of the tunnels that made up her Lair.

Lore

Clan Onda was founded as just a simple war band, wanting to mark and claim territory around the Leviathan Trench as quickly as possible, by any means possible. Eventually, the leader of the war band was convinced to settle, as many who joined the band were losing interest in fighting on the whims of an overconfident Guardian. As the Trench became home to many underground tunnels, the Clan did not lose its fighting spirit, only redirecting it towards other goals. They became hirelings for other Clans, seeking out treaties and giving aid when needed. There were other ways to gain footholds in other territories without conquering them, after all.
