Among the engineers of the Machinist’s Guild, a limit has always been seen as a challenge. The question is not if a solution is possible, but when it will be possible, and who will be first to make it so. The work is fast paced and risky, often a dangerous dance on a knife’s edge, but no price is too high in the name of progress. Armies of drakes with burning curiosity poke and prod at problems, quick to ask a swarm of questions and quicker to find their answers. Can batteries last longer? Can dragons fly faster? Can food taste better? Question upon query upon inquisition of whether we can do this, or that, or the other, but of all the conundrums the tinkerers of the Expanse sink their teeth into, one continues to evade their grasp, and they aren’t fond of how difficult they find getting an answer.
