The City....

A crumbling place, the government in control nothing more than mere figureheads to the cult that rules it true. The Brotherhood of Bloodied Saints and the Sisterhood of Blind Nuns form the backbone, using the City's macabre strangeness to their advantage.

The police aren't helpful. The government buildings are mere fronts. No official you can turn to for assistance.

Citizens resort to private investigators to help them when the disturbing and upsetting occur. Many of these P.I.s have interesting powers of their own, corrupted at birth due to the oddness of the City seeping into their very bones.

The Curious Eye Agency, headed by Violette, is one of many of P.I. agencies. But unlike the other agencies, Vi has a deep past tied to the Brotherhood, one that she has longed to forget. And forget she has, until Mylene came crashing into her life and brought the Curious Eye Agency on a crash course with the Brotherhood.
