Welcome to the Obsidian Watch!
LORE The Obsidian Watch was one of few tribes that made and founded their home deep underneath the Tempest Spires within the Shifting Expanse a few centuries after dragonkind were born. The caverns in which they’ve made their home are seemingly vast and endless, no doubt the results of the hard work and perseverance that the founders of the tribe showed and natural erosion of the grotto over time. The entrances to their caverns, few as they may be, are hidden and guarded by their Jarls powerful magic, enchanted so that those with ill intentions or those who’ve been deemed unworthy cannot ever hope to see the passageways. Only upon invitation can a drake see and enter into the unknown depths. |
Lore Dragons
Most of my lair will, for the most part, contain dragons that are actively going to be apart of the story and background of the Obsidian Watch. For the most part, my goal is that you’ll be able to discern which of my dragons are, in fact, lore related as not only will they have their own bio templates but they’ll also be the first and foremost dragons in my lair. |
Nonlore Dragons
Unfortunately, not every dragon in my lair will be an active lore dragon, and for good reason. Some are breeding projects that I’m doing to help make treasure/gems so that I can fund other projects, others will be gene projects that I’ve taken an interest in and their bio’s will either be empty or be appropriately tagged via notes and such with what I have planned to do with them. |
FACTIONS
THE COUNCIL
The Council of the Obsidian Watch consists of the founders, the Jarl and his two second in commands; as well as one drake from each rank that exists within the tribe. Their job is, whenever the council is called together, to discuss matters that concern the whole tribe. Whether it be problems of trade, declarations of war/peace, or about a mission; all members of the council will meet, discuss, and make their arguments to the Jarl who, in turn, decides the final decision on the matter.

THE WATCH
The Watch consist of four ranks; warriors, guards, shepherds, and alchemists. They are the main force and front lines of their tribe. They work alongside the Druids to protect not only the tribe and their people, on the missions they embark on, they protect those who can’t stand up for themselves and help others. They’re hard-working selfless drakes who are dedicated to their cause and work.

THE DRUIDS
The Druids consist of the last four ranks of the tribe; healers, scribes, artisans, and seers. They stay mostly within the borders of their home and care for the people they take in. They’ll heal the wounded, document events, craft armor and weaponry, and see what the future holds. The Watch cannot work without the Druids; If the Watch were the spearhead, then that would make the Druids the shaft and you can’t truly have one without the other. Druids are seen as wise beyond their years and trusting above all else.
