All cheap dragons are named "Exalted". If you buy a cheap dragon that you don't plan on exalting then trade it back and I'll change the name for you.
This dragon will act as both hostage and doombringer. Bearing the blessed weapon of their deity, they will leave their homeland to reside in the domain of their enemies.
Each page of dragons has their own additional lore in the description of each tab.
My goal is to eventually write lore for all the clans, families, and fairies in the den.
The Misty Isles
Also known by its inhabitants as Lemuria or the Far Shores, the Misty Isles is an ancient, unconquered place that the Plaguebringer has yet to touch and one that all other lords fail to contest. It is also, in the eyes of those lower than those rulers in status, the perfect place to hide.
It is composed of three main locations: the Grasslands, Bloodtide Cove, and Green.
Grasslands: The most known and visited part of the isles. It is a land of rolling green hills and rocky mountains inhabited by proud, superstitious 'Sun-Dweller' clans that war amongst and absorb one another. Allegiance to the aristocracy of these clans is just as important as Flights are to outsiders. Whenever a foreign army attempts to conquer the island, however, the great kings make a pact to unite; all forces attempting to dominate the island have been driven off without fail. Still, between a rival and a foreigner, the Sun-Dwellers will almost always be more cordial with the foreigner.
As a surprise to many, Sun-Dwellers have impressive mastery of oceanic travel and had a system of trade routes in antiquity that mysteriously and voluntarily shrunk into isolation.
Bloodtide Cove: The Bloodtide Coast is a mysterious and near infinite expanse of underwater and above-water cave systems. 'Tide-Dwellers' as many outsiders call them are secretive and lineage-based with few not of these families - save mages - being accepted. Though technically united unlike their Grasslands kin, nepotism and power grabs are rampant amongst bloodlines and numerous bloody civil wars remain fresh in the minds of many. Powerful wizards rule and manipulate this subterranean kingdom through dreamlike divinations, and the heart of the caverns remains unexplored.
Green: The clans do not have one true name for it, but all agree that the heavy forests of the island are not to be trifled with. Sprites, fairies, and other creatures trouble any that live there and even sacrificing often to these spirits is not a guarantee that you won't face their wrath or curiosity. This is the most diverse part of the Misty Isles outside of the port town and is only inhabited by the toughest and most courageous of pioneers. Some of these dragons are even rumored to share the blood of the spirits inhabiting it.
Outlanders have connected several of the three megacultures to those of outside Flights - namely the arena of Plague, the traveling Wind, the deep Ocean, and the beauty and twisted mysteries of Nature - but few natives agree with these assessments.
Like in the rest of the world, some bonds transcend rivalry. There are many examples, but one small band of fighters is the most noteworthy. Two from the waters - the Bognseak guard Maui, the old Guardian warrior-poet Grim - and a pioneer from the Green, the fairy-blooded Spiral Pearl battle in the Coliseum, bathing in the arena's loot and glory.
