Sparkpulse's Clan
We may not have much, but we have each other. That's enough.
Clan Info
At one time, Atrios was a Guardian ready to go out and see the whole world. His goal was simple; find a ward who would be willing to explore with him, and see what the world had to offer! What he found, instead, was an aged Serthis living alone, one who tugged at his heart strings in ways he didn't expect. Rather than continuing the quest for his own forever-ward, he chose to keep the aging serpent company in his final years, learning a great many things from the dying snake, and then returned to his clan bereft, reeling from the loss of his friend... and told them that he had found nothing on his ward quest. He had never planned to lie, but the death of the Serthis was too fresh in his mind, and if he was only to be half a Guardian anyway, he might as well not have to discuss the pain. He set about on his studies instead, learning to read the magic around him and channel it through his claws... but his family soon began to worry on him, encouraging him to go on another journey, give finding a ward another try. He finally relented, if only to get them off his back...
Leaving his clan once again, Atrios set out to explore the lands of the Arcane, hoping to find someplace to hole up for a while and continue his studies. He traveled for several days before something caught his eye; an empty cave in the rocks, the crystal at it's mouth glowing a peculiar shade of purple. He made his way inside, only to find himself accosted; a Fae dragon, as persistent as she was diminutive, struck up the attack almost immediately. The Guardian backed up more out of surprise than anything, curious about the tiny dragon's minute, monotone screeches. "Mine, mine," she cried and shrieked, "you can't have it. Mine!" Her frills were flaring broadly, as though she were trying to make herself look larger, and at the back of the shallow cave he could just see what she was trying to protect; a large mass of crystal, glowing blue amongst the pink spires. The Guardian backed out, amused, and waited for the Fae to calm down. By the stars, it was almost as though she thought that she were a Guardian, and that was her Ward...
"And tell me, tiny one... if it were a fully-grown Imperial who came along, seeking to take such a thing as that, would you attack it so directly?"
These were the first words that Atrios spoke to Flit, the tiny Fae who would become one of his best friends. Forced to admit the logic in his words, Flit agreed with the Guardian's proposition that she could keep her crystal, it would be hers to her little heart's content, and he would protect her and it in exchange for being able to look it over from time to time and try to understand just what it was. Over time, the pair learned to get along together and find comfort in their strange friendship... and then they found the tiny Spiral, lost and alone, and couldn't leave her behind... and then they dug up the Snapper, and by the time the Coatl showed up things were just getting ridiculous... and then the wandering Ridgebacks found them and just wouldn't leave, and the next thing they knew, they had a clan around them once more and it continued to grow from there.

I'm toying with the idea of being less lazy and doing lore/art for my lair too... hmmm.
