Nestled among the putrid tendrils of The Wandering Contagion a tepid bog is rooted. Beneath the surface of the foul water twisted things lie in wake, deformed and grotesque in ways that imply severe agony. Wooden huts moulded from sturdy oak and slathered mud are as steadily rooted as the neighbouring trees themselves, harbouring wayward dragons and their kin. The scenery, though decrepit, is beautiful, and obscured by a thick plume of mist. Ancient hewn stones marked with forgotten tongues and childish scribbles form the substance of a grand castle, iron gates bared like the gaping maw of a tortured beast.

Sloping hills and protruding rocks herald the environment as a dangerous one, the proud greatwood trees entwined with plumes of thorns. The ever present breeze howls a mournful tune of eternal agony. Surely many pains have been suffered on these cursed lands.
