TOPIC | Coliseum Multiple Bug Report

-- Sometimes Coliseum fights will hang and lag out completely, after a turn has been made.
-- When attempting to do a Coliseum (Monster Battle) fight after doing a Coliseum (Ranked Match) fight, you may get a "Your opponent has left" error and be kicked out of the fight.
-- Enemy sprites can visually glitch and hitboxes / clickboxes can disappear, making progress impossible.
-- Rewards still do not include Treasure.
-- Some fights provide no loot drop what-so-ever, which shouldn't be possible (even if it is intentional).
-- When raising a dragon to a higher level, sometimes the game refuses to place points into a stat (Example: Male Fae, Level 2, cannot place 14th and 15th points of Strength). If this is intentional (IE, some kind of stat cap), then there is no message... Also, stat caps would be a terrible and stupid idea.
-- Sometimes, when placing level-up points, the player will be able to place two level's worth of points. This is an entire visual / UI glitch, the second set of points do not actually apply.
-- Meditate is somehow capable of missing.

Sorry to doublepost, but I am just going to keep stacking bugs into this one as me and my friends find them.
-- Guard specifically targets one ally, instead of guarding for both at once. If this isn't a bug, it should be.
-- When the server goes down, the Coliseum suffers an interesting visual error where all of the buttons vanish, and you can't do anything for several minutes, and THEN you're booted back to the main Coliseum menu with no XP or items for your trouble.
-- There is no indicator of elemental resistance, although there is one for weakness.
Sorry to doublepost, but I am just going to keep stacking bugs into this one as me and my friends find them.

For elemental resistance- there is an indication- the damage number is grey instead of white.

I had always thought that was just a "you rolled low" indicator. Much more sensible now. So big flash + shaking screen is a weakness hit, and grey numbers is a resist hit. Good to know.

I keep getting kicked back to main coliseum page in the middle of battles. its so annoying!

I can't get to the colisuem? every time I try it kicks me to the main FR page?

Especially seeing his concerns in the balance threads and about the design issues, that's very nice. :) New bug report: error loading spirte: render/coliseum/battlesprites/12304.png Followed by 14855.png and 15491.png... And then a [b]ton[/b] of other sprite failures, over 100 of them, including aura20 through aura40. After closing all the dialogues, however, Coliseum loaded fine.

No worries-- I know he's putting in a lot of work on it, and I am super-glad to see him and the rest of you come into threads like this. Especially seeing his concerns in the balance threads and about the design issues, that's very nice. :)

And then a ton of other sprite failures, over 100 of them, including aura20 through aura40. After closing all the dialogues, however, Coliseum loaded fine.

Hey @Ariamaki, I'm going to answer your points as best as possible here:

- The Coliseum hangups are a known and ongoing issue that is being worked on. Check for threads with a [T] to see what big issues are being followed.
- The "Left" error, the Sprite hangup, and display hangups (Bolster, Reflect, etc.) are also known.
- Rewards are not yet meant to include treasure. Lack of loot drop is normal, as all loot is a "chance" drop. Some with higher drop values, some with lower. Some fights you'll get 6 drops, some you'll get 0.
- Applying stat points requires an increasing scale of input to gain. It'll go from a 1:1 ratio to 2:1, 3:1, and so on, based on the grade of your stat.
- I'm not sure about Meditate missing. I have not seen this happen, so this may be an actual bug to consider.
- Guard has about a 40% chance of missing. I have issues with it as well, especially since it seems to go down to 20% upon applying it to a second ally. You should head over to the Suggestions board with any ideas on improving it~
- Elemental Resistance charts are floating around the forum. Here's the one I use:

- Yes, Healing potions heal a flat amount and are capable of critting. The crit, I recall, is a bug. The flat amount is because there are increasing levels of healing potions. Again, please head over to Suggestions for any input.
