Could you provide more detail about this issue in a thread in the bug forum? It does not leave me much to go on. Which dragon and such? I see you have a skin applied to the dragon in your avatar which is showing.

P.S. I really like BIOS, great name for the color and genes.

I'll hit on some of these as best I can:

Speed/Responsiveness is something we will always be chasing. It will be a never-ending battle. Perfection is an unattainable goal, but we will always strive for it. As long as Flight Rising is running, you can bet that our team will be searching for ways to speed it up.
We are currently waiting on three pieces of new hardware, and working on when and how we will be migrating to them. This process is extremely delicate (as you all are very aware), so we do not want to rush or perform it hastily without taking considerable steps to make sure it goes off as best as possible.
We will continue to evaluate the rate of payout for features if many are offline or unavailable, but our primary concern is getting those programs in great working condition so that this is not necessary. :)
We will be monitoring the Dragon Sales forum and brainstorming new ways to approach this particular venue if it becomes hard to interact with.

Afternoon, everyone!

Coliseum Status: Online

We are giving some coding love to Coliseum this evening in hopes of improving how it interacts with the database. Our aim with this is to provide a bit more improvement to site responsiveness and lessen the amount of strain it puts on the server. During this time, it will be unavailable, as we are analyzing just how much of a performance hit this particular feature is on the overall site experience during a high-traffic time.

We would love to get you all involved and ask for your input while work progresses. Please feel free to chime in on this thread to let us know:

While Coliseum is offline, how is your browsing experience?
Does it feel like the site, including other HTML5 applications, is improved?
Does it feel about the same?

Refreshing the search or the dragon's lookup does nothing to bring the images up. Is this still being worked on?

Go to the lair where the dragons are from. It will generate images for them.

I'll be leaving the current images where they are for the moment, maybe another week at most. It would be best to update your posts with the correct links when they are completed.

Also, I don't get pings. I had to turn them off. I was getting 100 pings a day which was keeping me from finding the things that really needed attention.

Front page message board posts were taken out a while ago to reduce load.

We are currently working to make dragon images update to their correct images. While we are working on this, you may notice your dragon images are not updating as they normally would when changes are made to their breeds or when equiping items. We will get them back to normal as soon as possible.

The alterations are to the images and where they are stored. These changes have no interaction with the database and the actual breed/gender/colors of your dragons are safe regardless of what the images might show for the time being.

EDIT: We are done with the image edits for now. Any changes you make to a dragon should result in the correct images.

If your dragon images appear as broken, or the images of someone else appear as broken, visiting their lair should clear that problem. Moving images to a faster system and clearing the broken ones.

Once a player has sold a dragon to another player, that dragon is theirs to do with as they wish. Though the idea of renaming "unnamed" dragons post-exaltation is an interesting idea for our suggestions forum. :-)

These should be corrected when the dragons age in 4 days time. They will grow and it will force the image to redraw. I'll poke our codesmith to ask and see if there's anything to expediate the process.

Can you tell me where on the site you're initiating the block from when you notice getting the blank entry? Is it from Clan Profile? Clan Profile comments? Private Messages? Forums? All?

Also, what browser are you using?

If the dragons you bred were rolled back to a state where they were unbred, you will need to breed them once again, which gives you a fresh opportunity at a 1-5 egg nest.

It is not a great feeling to have gotten lucky the first time around, and not so lucky the second. Our apologies that the rollback had to happen, and for the loss of your gameplay progress.

The chest should have yielded several thousand treasure, a handfull of gems, and some items (familiars and apparel are common.)

Opening things when the server's slow from congestion are not always successful. If the item still exists, try again. If it doesn't still exist, please check your hoard and treasure total to see if they were added to your account. If neither of these worked, contact us. :-)
