Another possibility is if you hit the button twice it also exalts once and then thinks you're trying to exalt again (which is why you get the error) Since the first exalt went through your treasure count did go up, you just never got the confirmation screen to see it do so. :-)

In answer to a couple of inquriies: Lightsky is still working for us. We do appreciate folks who come forward with tips on loopholes or exploits so that we can patch them up. We do intend to open registration again in the future, and we do intend to fix the "mistakes have been made" issue. (The issue isn't the error you get: It's that you get it in the first place. THat message is a "catch" for when part of the familiar bonding process goes through but not the other part. It reverts the action. This prevents folks from bonding with their familiar but not receiving treasure, or receiving treasure but not having their daily bond count.)

The reason why is that it allows us much more options for chest, waist, and other body apparel. :-) But no, if you think on it, doesn't make much sense, but the additional options in apparel creation seemed like a fair trade-off.

@Lightning I drew those. The lovely drops for harpy's roost in this update are Fable's work. There should be some apparel by her in a future update.

Please note that this is only applicable to scrolls used within the affected timeframe.. just in case there was any sort of confusion. (The line about didn't quite get what i wanted mad eme want to clarify!) Scatterscrolls do not offer any sort of guarantee on results, but we did want to make sure that folks had the chance at the full color range. So if you used a scroll during the time when the full range was not in the possible outcomes, we want to offer folks that opportunity to have their item do what it said it would. :-)

A rough estimate is not specifically needed, but certainly couldn't hurt and would be helpful.

Scatterscrolls suffered from an issue where they would only scatter a random range from colors 1-47(white through sunshine) rather than 1-67(white through rose). They have been fixed are now functioning correctly with a random range within the 67 color set.

The affected timeframe was from August 15th until September 22nd 0:00. (Note: Scrolls used after this timeframe were fixed and should have had the chance to scatter with the site's full color range.) If you have used a scatter scroll during the affected time period and are unsatisfied with having used a scroll with the limited range, please do the following to receive account-bound replacement scatterscrolls with the full range available:

Send us an e-mail:

• The "From" field should contain the e-mail address you used to register and that we may use to contact you. It must match the e-mail we have on-file for your account.
• The "Subject" field should be titled "Scatterscroll Range Bug"
• Inside the message, please include the following:
  • Your account Name and ID# (The number can be found by visiting your lair and copying the number in the url)
  • How did you obtain your scatter scroll? Marketplace, AH, or Trade? We will be checking this, but giving us a starting point will be helpful!

Due to the volume of players affected, it may take us several days to over a week for compensation to be issued, but we will be working on this until everyone has been taken care of. Please note that we are only issuing account-bound scrolls to those who used scatterscrolls during the affected time. If you purchased a scroll and resold it or traded it away, the person who used it was the one affected and the one who should contact us.

Edit: Because there's been a bit of confusion on the matter, I thought I would take this moment to clarify that you do not NEED to contact us if you are satisfied. We're not requesting that anyone rescatter their dragons or forcing anyone to mail us. If you are disatisfied with having scattered when only 47 colors were possible, THEN you contact us and we begin working with you. If you're happy, it's perfectly fine not to e-mail us!

Sorry it's taking so long. It really is on my to-do list, but the mirror M tiger file has been lost so to fix it I need to redraw the stripes and I've been a bit busy with a few other projects. I will be addressing this in the future. :-)

Moving to bug reports forum, but I can confirm that all is well. Site-wide with many more nests factored in the averages line up perfectly (or within 0.1%) of our intended table.

Black Tulips can be gathered from shadow and nature foraging. You need to have a skill of greater than 10 for them to be factored into the possible outcomes.

There are 36 trades currently available to Swip, and he offers a new trade every 2 hours. It doesn't cycle perfectly; It's a RNG every time, so every two hours each trade has a 1/36 chance of popping up. You could end up with no Sakura Flowerfall for a week, or Sakura Flowerfall 5x in the same day.

So far I think that every trade he has available has shown up at least once. :-)

I can safely say in less than a week. Probably much sooner. :-)

I have a pretty good idea in my head of when it's going up, but I prefer not to say because there's some additional content we'd like to bundle in + we need to additional time to fully test those coding shenanigans I mentioned. So far it seems pretty good, but the solution is a new territory and we want to try breaking it in all manner of ways before we release it into the wild. :-)

As a quick heads-up (to help alleviate heartache from scheduled disconnects) please remember that the server kicks everyone off from 00:00 - 00:30. If you start a game close to rollover, remember that when it hits 23:58 it may be time to advance your tiles to the top of the screen and collect.

The unscheduled disconnects due to your own internet or our server hiccuping are sadly not so easily avoided. We're trying to make sure that the latter doesn't happen as frequently anymore.

I just wanted to chime in that I think it's awesome you're making mom's dream dragon as a welcoming gift. ^_^

@Helmintio I'm fairly sure that everyone's gonna be pretty happy with the compensation solution we arrived at. It involved some coding shennanagins that is new territory for us (so we don't have it ready quite yet- needs some final testing.) -but SOON we'll have a compensation procedure for those who used scatterscrolls during the affected time in the next news post.

While I can't say if it's canon for the majority of mirrors and tundra, I'll wiggle my admin fingers and give you my blessing that it's now canon that the mirror and tundra pair you see in the coliseum are fighting over a Dickinsonia Vendian debate gone too far.

The shards are in at the same rate as previous holiday gathering turns. They dont' gather INSTEAD of other loot, they gather in addition to other loot on their own proc table.

Just to be sure I did gathering on 10 test accounts and the results were about expected. Most gathered average, some below average, some above average. I think that the RNG is just having a poop day for you guys (sorta like the folks who get several one egg nests in a row. It's not bugged, it's just a poopey outcome from the realm of possibility.)

Despite this 3 days in a row with 0 procs does sound a bit fishy to me, so please let us know if that continues. :-/ To reiterate: You do need to gather in the arcane area for any profession. If you gather anywhere else 0 returns on shards is expected and working as intended.

@Pixar and people suffering from buying a dragon at auction and having it not show up: This is a thread for a different matter; however, please use the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page if your purchased dragon doesn't show up in an hour. It's currently possible for two people to buy the same dragon at the same time if they both purchase it within a second of eachother. We're working to try to resolve this, but in the meantime, please contact customer support to get a refund.

This seems to happen most commonly when you buy the cheapest dragon on the auction house, as the cheapest dragons are the ones most likely to be purchased within seconds of eachother due to exaltation.

Kitty is correct. Only one of each familiar type can be equipped. However, you can own multiple copies of a familiar if you want to save them for resale. The arcane sprites are being retired after this festival, so I would expect them to go up in value over time, especially for new players who didn't have the opportunity to participate in this year's Starfall Celebration.

Go ahead and try. We feel the bug has been resolved. (SOme code that want's ready yet got pushed to our live server a bit too early accidentally!)
