Goddess of misfortune They entered the realm, not aware of the deity that resided in it, feasting on the souls of those unfortunate enough to encounter her. Stumbling across the fields; crashing down the hills; passing out in the soft grass beneath their feet in the gentle breeze. Startled by a sudden noise, a shadow blocking each ray of sunlight that lit up the world, they dared to look at her. She took their breath and rendered them speechless. The sky darkened further, thunder heard from afar, a shudder. She went back to hiding in the shadows of her very own misfortune, for she may be pretty from the outside yet her inside remains a curse no matter what. |

Being Hilda’s best friend wasn’t easy, especially not for the beautiful tundra made up out of flames, blessed by the gods themselves. But as legend says: Within every darkness there can be found a ray of light, luck and misfortune go hand in hand. Hildo, Hilda’s mate, raised within the very fields those many dragons fell to their doom in. Being immune meant becoming her partner, staying until the very end even if forced, there was no way out, there was no way into her heart. A tragic and sad life ahead of them for all eternity.. |
