Hello, am Coincidence ^o^ As the title states, I am looking for any flavor of enemies to lovers story to cowrite. I:
- can do any kind of pairing, but most of my characters are male. I can do female ones upon request (or something outside that binary!)
- prefer original worlds but am in a few fandoms so do ask if you have a fandom in mind. - prefer playing stories that have a fair share of everything; hurt and comfort, the light and the dark, comedy and tragedy. get creative!
- have no trigger warnings beyond FR's.
- big on communication; want to change the plot in a big way? Unsure about relationships? Want to chat? Say hi!
- can do a thread here or on discord.
- write >250 words excluding action/dialogue posts and ask that you do the same.
- replies range from every few hours to once in 3 days. I also ask that you do the same or communicate your temporal boundaries with me.

Hello I'm super interested in this especially since most of my characters seem to have this kind of relationship. I've been looking for another rp since the one I'm currently in isn't moving very fast.

My characters are primarily male as well, but I can use my female ones as well. Whatever you're more comfortable with.

I also prefer original worlds, most of my characters have some sort of history with a certain fandom though. Then I kind of 'kidnap' them to my original world where they just live out their lives after the trauma of 'canon'.

1.) I love cultivation media! Some of the media out there makes like no sense (because how has your character lived that long or have that much power when they haven’t even reached core formation?!), but that’s few and far between because most writers put thought into how their system works. Cultivation to me is primarily someone or something cultivating to reach immortality or god hood. Most characters do it to reach god hood, but some do it just to reach that stage where they stop aging and have a significant amount of power.

2.) I can totally do that! I have plenty of characters that have no relation in any way shape or form to a fandom.

Cultivation to me is primarily someone or something cultivating to reach immortality or god hood. Wahoo ! Gyahoo, ouuu I'm so glad someone else likes cheesy cultivation drama... I love that genre so much... and thank you for clarifying point 2; I'm always worried I'll get different fandom worlds' canon wrong in writing ough...

Anyhow, I was actually going to ask you this in the last message but I forgot, so I'll ask you in this one. Do you have any ideas in particular as to how to combine the worshiper/captor dynamic with the friends one? I'm kind of imagining two scenarios:
1) X, a famous character in the cultivation world/god is "killed," reincarnates with memories intact, and think their worshipper Y killed them
2) Someone who ~~simped for~~ worshipped or was friends with the god/idol in question, Y, was "killed" by said god/idol X in an ultimate betrayal reincarnated
Both smell like revenge plots... am I correct >:)

I'm kind of leaning towards option 1. One of my characters is a 'demonic' beast that cultivated a human form so that he could learn and serve under the gods by producing medicinal remedies for when/if they get injured. I can totally see him getting to be begrudging friends/acquaintances with a few of them or even staying in the human world to serve the common people. Maybe he descended from the heavens after his friends death (looking hella guilty) and everyone assumes he did the deed. Cue them meeting again and him teaming up with his reincarnated 'friend' to solve the mystery of his original death and get the both of them back to the heavens.

I'm just imagining my boy peacefully humming while grinding herbs, and then your boy pops in covered in blood terrifying him. He might be 'demonic' (or a y?o if you prefer) but anyone covered in blood that isn't theirs would be terrifying.

I imagine that he must have very much intrigued my boy to see a human like your character holding himself back. His species aren't well known for their restraint, they're predators by nature, and seeing someone holding back like that and enduring such treatment would definitely draw his attention. Enough that he would volunteer or simply kind of threaten the other medics so that he would be in charge of your character's healing/health. He would totally pry, and he would do some very intense and kind of uncomfortable staring. Just trying to figure out what makes your boy tick as his cultivation method is almost completely restraining his animal instincts and he'd very much like to stop biting people (He doesn't know where they've been and what if they have a disease he can catch ewww).

Love the idea of your boy just going unhinged feral after his death and being reborn. How did his rebirth go? Is it growing up from a baby, or something more along the lines of possession? Because once my boy figures it out (in the case of the later) he is going to find some way to make that body yours. No accidental (or purposeful) exorcisms here! Your character isn't going to be taken from him a second time, first because you're the interesting cultivator (Minor God), and secondly because he caught the feelings.

I think he'll take advantage of a new body (as to make his reappearance less noticeable, as well as something I'll discuss in a few sentences) because I like that idea of returning him to his original vessel as an act of devotion, but also one of possession—what if your demon boy writes a possession spell into his array, who knows what he can do to keep him under his control? I also want to think a little more about the driving force behind my character, and I've always wanted to write a roleplay where my responses include absolutely none of my character's inner thoughts.

Anyway, the brainstormed ideas for the sudden character change:
1) In the old body, my character was born with an "enlightened" soul. His qi was immense and under perfect control, which explained his great innate power, but he experienced no pleasure at all. What held him back and required him to cultivate in order to ascend was his errant morals. The gods saw what kind of havoc he could wreak if he suddenly regained his desire as a powerful immortal, and thus subjected him to a lowly position to keep his opportunities for further empowerment slim. In this new body he is free from those shackles; and the very first thing he has ever wanted in life is to kill the beast as it killed him.
2) In the old body, my character held some incredibly deep grudge against the heavens, but was cold and calculating, Machiavellian, even, until the end. He understood that demonic cultivation and becoming a demon would always mean subjugation by the gods, and had thus opted to grow his power righteously until he could kill that god, however impossible, himself. And before he could enact his penultimate calculation—he died. Killed. The same goal he'd wanted for this [insert grudge] enemy. He took a hasty bargain for his return to life, suffering a blow to his ego. And now, he was going to get his murderer out of the way first in an unnatural show of true emotion.

I think they're both very different even if interesting characterizations, and there are pros and cons regarding how the story can progress/the plain fun of playing such a character for both, so I think I'll decide later. What do you think? Once you give me the all clear and lay down some groundwork for the setting, I can get started on making a thread and character sheet.

The idea of my boy being possessive and controlling has me going wild. My boy summoning yours back into a random (but still very good cultivation wise) body because 'who said you can die?!?! Not me!!'. Getting in the way of or keeping your boy from getting revenge for his murder because that might appease him and allow his spirit to finally be at peace and move on. Something that he will not allow until he feels satisfied and even then he will probably still get in the way of your boys revenge in different ways.

Maybe he even had a hand in your boys death? It could be unknowing due to somebody or something adding something to your boys prescription after a fight to weaken him so it would be easier to kill him. Or it could be on purpose as my boy designed a two part medication/incense that weakens those who cultivate using human methods (such as Gods but not yao) when taken/inhaled. Could have been asked as maybe a theoretical question to see if he could as a replacement to binding ropes/chain or an offhanded thing that everybody but the main villain thought he would blow off.

I'm trying to think of reasons that these two would be rivals, because to me it sounds like this is going more in the direction of friends to enemies to lovers instead of rivals to lovers (Which is tots my fault). I'm very sorry if my boy doesn't seem antagonistic enough. Original lore just had him as a very old Yao who did medicine and wasn't afraid to kill or further injure his patients if they didn't listen to him (which he would just heal again in the course of the latter). Right now all I can think of is him I don't know taunting(?) your boy by putting patients on the verge of death to make your boy come over and then "miraculously" healing them so he traveled all that way for nothing. Making him suffer through unneeded medical experiments when he just came in for a simple healing and just taunting him to try and break his calm facade. Give me ideas please. My boy is just a very calm beastie (until he starts experimenting and then he's a mad scientist) who enjoys smoking medicinal herbs way too much.

Also I keep forgetting to ask how far ahead or behind are you of FR time? I'm +1 and about 6 minutes ahead. I'm also a horrible night owl when my laptop is willing. Sorry for my rambling as well, my brain will think of multiple things at the same time and I have to get it down or its lost to the ether.
