Greetings and salutations!
My name is Para(or Pawa, or Paw, or "hey, is that name based off of that one plague doctor from that one video game, or is it based off of the one Swiss dude," whichever rolls off the tongue faster ;]), and despite the fact it says I joined about a year ago, I am what people may call a bit of a "newbie" to FR, and that includes the RP scene! So, I figured I'd drop a hello and a little Looking For post, to see if I couldn't make a connection or even start up an RP! So, here's a little about myself as well as any ideas, to see if I spark an interest!
I am indeed a minor: While I keep my age vague for personal privacy, I feel I must let everybody know that I am a minor, and if that makes you uncomfortable then I completely understand! I wish you well, and mayhaps in a couple years we'll be able to meet again! But for those who do not care, carry on! I am comfortable roleplaying with adults, though I will be stricter on boundaries, such as no romance of any kind.
Semi-lit to Lit (with exceptions): Typically, I try to make my roleplay responses about a paragraph or two when it comes to forums (which I'll be the first to admit that I'm rusty with, it's been a great many years), but in other scenarios, I'm downright happy with one liners! If you wish to RP through Discord (where I have more experience), I find natural conversations flow better that way--one line responses work more than fine with those! Even just a single word works in those scenarios. However, if you dislike that, then tell me and they shall be excluded!
Discord upon request: Self explanatory, but if you wish to use Discord as the medium, then PM me and I'll provide! However, I'm not throwing it out into the wide open web for reasons that may be quite obvious. If I do not accept your friend request, I either didn't use Discord for days, or got extremely shy and chickened out. If I go several days without accepting, PM me here! Bully me into friending you! I'm not scary, I'm just scared of everybody else on this planet!
Friendship Required :] A joke, but I see this as a way to become friendly with people who share similar interests with me! Friendship is not required, but I'd love to have OoC chats with you! Tell me your interests! The things you like! Story ideas you have! Bombard me with anything! I've met some of the most amazing people through roleplays, and I'm down to do it again!
Replies later in the day: And finally, a small disclaimer. I work on the weekday, and spend my weekends typically extremely busy. I am in FR+0 time, so you may get responses from 9 P.M. Unfortunately, that's an extreme downside of my schedule. While there can be earlier-in-the-day-replies, if you dislike the idea of replies consistently late at night, then that's quite understandable!
If none of that scared you away, then sweet! Onto the actual interesting part!
For Romance: I just want to make a quick note here, before I continue on. If you wish to include romance (I always love a good romance story!), then I must request it only be FxF. I apologize, but I do not RP male characters, and do not find personal enjoyment with MxM or FxM roleplays. That is not to say I dislike male characters! I simply will not play a dude, and will not RP romance involving one.

For General: Oh, this is where I may shine, my friends! I have listed three different worlds that I've slowly been developing on my own time--all of which are human-based, some more than others. If any of these spark your interest, tell me and we can easily get to work developing them more!
- What a Wild West Wonder: In the year 1800, or something or other, man discovered magic. Now, it wasn't like those fairy tales said, oh no--man was drillin' for oil, and stumbled upon something much more valuable. Magic, now known as "Olanic" by the old folk--due to it's nature of being found while drilling for oil-- was sitting in a well, completely untapped. When an unknown mining crew happened to break into it, a flood of wild and chaotic essence was released into this world. It flowed, gushed even, and some lucky humans got hit with it, hard as a train barreling down a railroad track. These humans found themselves split into any number of groups: Those who sought to keep the magic for those who "deserved" it, though who sought to use the magic for their own selfish desires, and those who just wanted to keep their own hides safe. Now, in a classic outlaw-against-the-law story, high society clashes with free-spirited bandits in an attempt to control the Olanic Well for themselves. Society remains stuck in a late-1800's, early-1900's society, with magical steampunk setting, as humans never felt the need to innovate beyond the essentials. Cars run on Olanic Magic, and so do household facilities.
- Dungeons, Dragons and Taxes, Oh My!: In a setting not so different from the last, earth has progressed as normal--along side the mystical and fantastical. Humans ride dragons to work, elves serve you coffee, and the demonic serve as your lawyer. Life is... Quite normal, however, seeing as how most people don't notice this. Rather, a select few people known simply as "Visuals" have developed a gene that involves them to see the world for what it truly is. They are contracted then by the Council, a domain of interplanar entities that one may call Divines, who seek to keep the mundane separate from the mystical. Anybody can become a Visual, as all it takes is a close encounter and one splitting migraine. The Council, however, has many hideouts--typically taking the form of every day amenities, such as coffee shops, laundromats, game stores, and even schools. Of course, these fantasy people wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't for the fact these mystical beings had a very bad habit of showing up in other people's bodies, rather than their own. Which of course means stealing their identity. Which of course means their inevitable demise. So... Maybe you can see why the Council wishes to end this crisis as quickly as possible.
Even if it has already taken a few thousand years.
- High Intrigue, Low Morals: And... I lack a set setting for this one! If you're interested in political intrigue in a fantasy world, however, hit me up!
That was a lot, and this is... Long. I apologize, in fact, if this is too long! I fear for the worst! I have a habit of being too wordy for my own good, but perhaps this may intrigue fellow RPers?
