He turned his attention to the food and began picking at the lighter things the two had packed. Internally he was struggling to decided if he despised or liked Gideon looking at him.

(honestly I could have used my character named martyr but its too LATE NOW) plaguing unforgiving streets. A fascination for what squirms in dark corners and chronic bad luck leaves this basket case in dire need of help.

Gideon's gaze was softer and looked deeper than his superiors. He wasn't looking for flaws as the latter had. It was still... strange, uncomfortable but... better.
He blinked and snatched up a grilled cheese for himself.

Ecanthos giving Gideon a taste of his own medicine seemed to be enough for him to stop his little unaware admiring session. He looked away, admiring their surroundings, again. "Man...its nice tonight." he commented, taking another huge bite of his sandwich, like woh, it was impressive how much he could eat. "Ya know what. I'm real glad you came back to bunk with me, angel." he added after a long pause, "Its nice to have company."
