TOPIC | HELP! My Wii! D:
OK so IDK if any of you know much about video game consoles, but if you do, please help?I know this isn't exactly the best place to ask, but I looked everywhere, and no site has an issue quite like mine...they're all rather non-specific.

I just got this game after weeks of waiting, and wanted to play it. So I put it in my Wii and it said it could not be read. I tried another game disc (a Gamecube one) to see if it was the Wii not wanting to read things, and it read that game just fine. I also cleaned the game I was trying to play the way Nintendo says you should. (with a damp cotton cloth) Some important information is that this game is not brans new, and was pre-owned. But the game, manual, and case cover seem to be in very good condition. One strange thing I noticed, however, is that the disc seems to have an orange tint to it....You know on the shiny bottom side. The Wii kind of acts like there isn't a disc in there or just doesn't bother reading it, since I don't hear it make any noises when I put that game in, but it makes the usually noises when I put the GC disc in...

I REALLY REALLY want to play this game, and it took me a long time to find it, so I'd rather not have to bring it back to GameStop. Please if you know how, tell me how to fix this problem. D:

If it's a Wii game then it's probably the Wii's problem not yours. The Wii sometimes gets the lens dusty inside and has trouble reading the Wii disks but will run gamecube games fine. A way to clean it is to get a old disk you don't care about and tape a piece of cloth to it and a handle to clean it out. There's videos of it on youtube, just search "How to Clean Wii lens at home" it's not super dangerous and I've had to do it quite a bit with my Wii to make it read Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I hope this helps and fixes your problem.
