I got bored and kind of just
Spit this out onto tumblr
Liked it so thought I would post it here
Not really looking for critique, just wanting to show it off.
*~*~*~*~~*
Hips swaying in time to the music, the young woman let herself be swept away in the moment, the thrum of the melody almost intoxicating. Lips parted as she sucked in air greedily, she almost didn’t see the green eyes on her — a predatory gaze from the red haired girl across the room. No, this wasn’t the first time they’ve met, and a part of her brain made the woman stop to question — was this intentional? Was this more than just coincidence?
There’s a pause, a moment where their eyes meet, and instead of the butterflies in her stomach that normally came with these type of meetings, the girl stopped completely. A sense of fear, or dread, overcame her as the red head started to make her way through the crowd. This… Something wasn’t right. Something was horribly, horribly wrong.
Swallowing down the knot in her throat, the air suddenly too dry for her liking, the dancer turned and left. No, she didn’t look back, and she didn’t notice the ginger following her. Well, she did — when she felt a hand on her shoulder.
Something was horribly, horribly wrong.
That much was clear when she felt the rag covering her mouth, and her body dropped after she gasped in the sickeningly sweet scent.
For right now, the girl’s head was so fogged that she didn’t even remember her own name. All she knew was she was looking up, and all she saw was green.
