Looking for an Aqua / Peridot / Pistachio Wind dragon
I think it's confirmed Veils are getting one next, but Banes need to be right after.
Support!

They really need Chorus/Choir imo, beautiful colors and fits their lore to a tee! Plus, it's currently only on one ancient and I think that's a shame :(

If you want post-apocolyptic Plague-flight lore, check out the Everwastes tab!
If you want a just-for-fun pink sparkly Arcane lair, check out the rest of my page!

Either way, I hope you have fun ^^
I don't think veils are next, at least never saw it confirmed (don't think I saw any confirmed except it was confirmed that undertides would have bigger expansion?). aethers were last to get big expansion, so after them it would be sandsurges then auraboas then dusthides then everlux. these lack genes more than banescales (as much I do love them, some need attention more)

I am def in support for more genes for banescales, I keep wanting to scry them but I don't like options much or lack something. as it is now I think they are just getting smaller random gene updates like other breeds as well. we have so many breeds that it is hard to keep up with all and someone will always have less. we just have to wait

pha/sarco, eclipse, wasp/bee, python/morph, chorus/choir, flair/flaunt are some I would love to see added

I'll admit, that was one of my concerns when ancients were first introduced--that breeds would fall by the wayside as new breeds come out, forgotten, not getting many if any updates, as the staff caters to the Next Newest Thing. And at some point, there's going to be so many ancients it's going to be hard for the staff to make new content for them all.

For example, when was the last time we had a new eye type released?

Pings are disabled.

If writers are supposed to "show not tell," why are we called "storytellers" and not "storyshow-ers"?
support - banescales really feel like they've been tossed to the wayside, especially sad considering they were the second ancient breed to be released i just hope we've seen the last of tentacles on ancients for a little while. i think it and medusa are so hard to look at sometimes
For example, when was the last time we had a new eye type released? Either they'll have to slow down with ancient releases, or breeds will fall increasingly behind on genes available to them. --- Always support expansions. Not exactly realistic unless they hire a ton more artists, but every breed should have ever prim/sec gene.
Ive worried this as well, that some breeds are getting a preferential treatment. though i'm trying to keep in mind that some breeds have less simply because they are new and its not staff purposely doing it, rather the breed just hasnt had the time to build up a gene library. with that said... i did find aethers have the most genes at 154 primary, secondary, and tertiary genes, Auraboa/Sandsurge tie for the least at 95 genes (aethers being the 6th released ancient, and auraboa/sandsurge being 7th and 8th.) the first ancient (gaoler) has 114, banes have 107. i agree that they should slow down ancient releases as it feels like the disparity between breeds is almost unfair. sandsurges are my favorite, but they lack 60 genes compared to aether. though i should mention, its not just genes that make up a dragon, quality of gene and skins also count with ancients. still hoping theres plans to level the playing field between ancients, and that they aim to give them all equal treatment! so yes! i support any gene expansion, especially to breeds that dont seem to get as many as others
