I took a peek in here yesterday, but today I'm gonna try to submit!
It's been really fun trying to feel out what the different hints mean, like, ok, which colors are fruits? Which colors can be ores?
Here's my guess for today!
Below is just my process, since I wrote it down to keep my thoughts straight:
Hints taken from description:
- Arcane Pastel eyes
- Tertiary adds pale purple (but pink-range) "big horns" - bubblegum antlers?
- Primary gene is Cinder, primary color is "a type of berry"
- Secondary gene is Jester, secondary color is "a drupe"
I'm the most excited about figuring out candidates for that secondary color, haha. off the top of my head, we've got peach, avocado, and cherry, but there might be more. oh! plum. (catch me blinking whenever I reach a fruit in the colors list, suddenly wondering if a fruit that absolutely doesn't have a pit maybe secretly does). also apparently hickory could count, too!
for the primary color's "berry" hint I'm going more culinary than botanical (sorry, banana), so we've got: blackberry (looks good with that bubblegum tert!), mulberry, grape?, cherry?, berry (too obvious), and strawberry. gonna go with blackberry, since that's the one that looks the best with the traits I've committed to.
which leaves the secondary color decision. I've got 5 candidates, but I'll drop hickory for lack of fruitness. I feel like Cole wouldn't worry about the berry status of peach or plum, which leaves sometimes-a-berry cherry and the avant-garde avocado. the latter seems like a stretch, so cherry it is!
